SUPPORTED LIVING
Who is Supported Living for?
We provide support to adults living in their homes. This support can vary from 24/7, sleep in support and hours throughout the week to enable adults to access activities that are important to and important for them. The level of support is tailored to each person.
The support workers help adults with learning needs in their own homes, and communities. We support individuals, couples and groups, depending on what each person hopes for and wants for their future.
There is no age limit for Supported Living, so we can continue to work with you for as long as you need us. You can simply contact us directly to find out more. We support people with a range of disabilities, many of whom have Autism. It’s worth noting that we don’t offer nursing care and although we off 24/7 staffing we don’t offer waking nighttime care.
What will Supported Living do for me?
Our Support Workers do whatever is needed to help you live your best life. We are ‘person centred’ which means you choose, and you decide what good support looks like, for what it is you want to achieve. We can support you for just a few hours a week to help you be as independent as possible.
We listen to what matters to you, we also listen to the important people in your life about what matters for you. We create a plan that we can all follow to make sure we are on track. The plan can change whenever you want it to, as we keep listening to what you want.
The best way to describe Supported Living is to tell you what we do for other people. It doesn’t mean you have to have the same, but it will give you an idea of what others wanted and what is possible for you.
